The screw housings were cheap. First one I screwed in broke. Then the second. The hardware reminded me of those flimsy pop-tops on old aluminum cans. Buyer beware. I should have known something was amiss when one of the items included in the set-up was wood glue. I've put together similar products from IKEA and Target. They never required wood glue. Stay far away from this one... Far, far away... The only complaint is that the color is much darker than it appears online. It's more of an espresso/black finish than espresso. All the little parts come in a neatly compartmentalized box and assembly is easy. A good looking piece too... note that the width is significantly more than a regular 12" bookcase.
