cheap bookshelves for sale, wall mounted bookshelves

Unlike another review, I am impressed with the quality of the lacquer and the wood. They're very pretty shelves, hold a ton of books, and look great in my Arts & Crafts style home. I think they'd look great in almost any decor, though - Asian, modern, minimal, even country if you order a lighter color.

I love how dark the espresso finish is - almost black, but with a little brown. I also like the open back (it has back support bars to keep books from falling out). This design allows my wall color to come through and keeps the cases from making a room feel overwhelmed, as enclosed bookcases might do. The outside screws (same color as the shelf finish) don't come with caps, but I find those to be only marginally nice since I almost always lose them within weeks, or one household move, of installing them.

The quality on this piece is substandard. We have just put together one of two that we purchased and already see that it has a poor paint job (you can see the color of the unfinished wood at the internal corners), no covers to cover the bolt heads, a scratch on one shelf, and in fact the top piece is so badly damaged I just got online to figure out how we can return it. The damage also shows this piece to be made of particleboard, not solid wood as you might expect from the description (I think the sides might be solid wood though). If this was priced at below $80, I might have given it a higher rating, but it definitely is not worth the current price.

I just received this item. It arrived damaged...not from the shipping but from the factory. The reason being is that it is not rubber wood as it suggested, it is particle wood overlay-ed with a piece of rubber wood. Thanks for the piece of garbage Amazon!
